HARPIST BRIDGET KIBBEY & FLUTIST JULIETTA CURENTON

Harpist Bridget Kibbey and Flutist Julietta Curenton present an exhilarating evening of duo works by Astor Piazzolla,
Johann Sebastian Bach, and more! These two virtuoso musicians met in 2001 while studying at the Juilliard School; and, upon
hearing each other play, decided to enter the International Competition of Chamber Music in Arles, France. After capturing Premier
Prix, they had the pleasure of performing in Europe at the World Harp Congress in
Geneva and Journees de la Harpe Festival in France.
Bridget Kibbey is a winner of the 2007 Concert Artists Guild International
Competition and recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant. The New York Times
recently declared she "brought blazing power and finesse to the intricate part,
which swept and lunged through open spaces and glittering wind and string figures."
Julietta Curenton is the winner of the 2005 National Flute Association's Young
Artists Competition. She has won young artist competitions sponsored by
New York Flute Club, Friday Morning Music Club, and the Mid-Atlantic Flute Club.
