Community Partnerships: Legal Considerations and Best Practices
Location: Green River Community College, 417 Ramsay Way, Suite 112, Kent, WA
Presenters: Sili Savusa, White Center Community Development Association and Greg Wong, Pacifica Law Group

Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm and the presentation will begin at 6:00 pm

We will explore the legal nature of community partnerships.  This training will cover the best practices of collaborating with community partners and government agencies, like school districts, the legal relationship among community partners.  We will explain what is a  a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), what legal agreements and content should be in an MOU, and how to negotiate an MOU.

Note: This training is limited to community advocates who live or work in South King County.  If you do not live or work in South King County, please email us at contact@wayfindlegal.org to discuss your eligibility to attend this training.
