TILDEN TRIO
PROGRAM: Bach: Trio Sonata in G Major, BWV 1039; Jennifer Higdon (2010 Pulitzer Prize winner): Piano Trio; Dvorak: Piano Trio No. 3 in F minor, Op. 65
Tilden Trio was created in 2004 by Juilliard schoolmates Sarn Oliver, Peter Wyrick and June Choi Oh. Having collaborated for decades in various ensembles starting in the Juilliard pre-college days, the trio is dedicated to the performance of timeless masterpieces as well as exciting new contemporary works. Tilden Trio's diverse repertoire includes compositions by Brahms, Ravel, Tango-inspired Piazzolla as well as contemporary works by Oliver and others.
