Bio:
Best known as founding members of the spirited and unpredictable rock trio The Slip, the brothers have crafted a beautiful new album together with several esteemed Montreal musicians.
Brad Barr shared a joining wall with harpist Sara Page, whose melodies would seep through the cracks, weaving their way into the music he was writing. The brothers began recording and performing with Sarah and bassist Miles Perkin around Montreal.
A self-produced, self-recorded labor of love, the ten song album was written over the course of the brothers time in a city full of strangers, lovers, old ghosts and new friends and recorded in their makeshift studio in an old boiler room at the foot of Mount Royal.
The carefully crafted record features harpist Sarah Page (Lhasa DeSela/Amon Tobin), bassist Miles Perkin (Lhasa DeSela) and several other Montreal musicians, including Elizabeth Powell from Land of Talk and Emma Baxter. Montreal keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist Andres Vial has recently joined the band, lending his amazing talent and spirit.
