French-Canadian Fiddle Workshop with Claude Methe * Susquehanna Folk (SFMS)

HANDS-ON MUSIC WORKSHOP
Back by popular demand! Claude Methe and his daughter Beatrix will teach a traditional Quebec tune or two (by ear, very relaxed) and talk a little about the people and context where this music is played. At the end, Claude will throw in a couple of his own tunes and talk about his perspective on playing recently-composed tunes that are not trad but might become trad. Tune sheets will be available after the workshop.
