Tampa Tantrums Boot Camp (Skaters)
The Tampa Tantrums announce their 2010 Roller Derby Boot Camp! September 17-19, 2010
The weekend will be full of drills, knowledge and pain (fun) is not to be missed.
*Friday night will include a free open skate and registration.
*Saturday will include on and off skate training, including a Rules and Stats session, as well as lunch. (During the Rules session, refs will answer presubmitted questions- submit your question(s) on the registration form.
*Saturday night will offer a black and white mixed bout, to test what you've learned; followed by an after party that only Tampa can offer.
*Sunday morning will continue more training, ending by 1PM.
OPEN TO:
*WFTDA & Non-WFTDA ROLLER DERBY SKATERS WHO HAVE PASSED THE MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS (not open to general public or aspiring skaters)
**Skaters must be 18 and up.
***Skaters who do not carry WFTDA/ USARS insurance, will be subject to an $18 event pass charge. (not included in price)
****This event is open to women AND men.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
-Complete safety gear & skates (don't forget your helmet & mouth guard)
-Wheels for polished concrete, wood and outdoors
-Reusable water bottle
-Black AND white shirts with name and number - for Sat night bout
-Sneakers/ Comfortable clothing
-Cash for after party!
All of this AND we're going to throw in your very own shirt!
Register by August 20th to get your name/ number added to the shirt free. (we like early birds)
