Super | Temporal | Voices
super/temporal/voices will feature performances by Owen Davis & Alejandro Acierto Duo, Leia Slosberg, Kayleigh Butcher & Bethany Younge, and Eric Hollander.
Owen Davis and Alejandro Acierto will do an improvised set on percussion, clarinet, voice, and electronics.
Kayleigh Butcher, soprano, will do a structured improvisation with tape by Amanda Feery, as well as perform a collaborative piece with Bethany Younge.
Leia Slosberg, a professional flutist currently residing in Boston, will premier three new compositions by Heather Stebbins, Ben Wylie, and Bethany Younge. All three pieces, specifically composed for Leia, prioritize the voice in some fashion.
In between each set Eric Hollander will perform short excerpts on viola while reciting poetry.
