Arts Gumbo - Rhythms of the Sole
On Saturday, Nov. 13, Arts Gumbo will partner with the regionally acclaimed Northwest Tap Connection, recipient of the City of Seattle 2009 Mayor's Arts Award. Northwest Tap Connection will present Rhythms of the Sole, a cultural journey through African American music guided by the sounds of rhythm tap dance. A Q&A including audience participatory dancing will follow. After the performance, a variety of traditional African American desserts will be offered.
