Musical Murals
A season opener of high style and musical inventiveness featuring intriguing works by three innovative American composers who draw direct inspiration from art in the world around them. From David Glenn's sculptural compositions to George Antheil's innovative Second Sonata in which contrasting pieces of music are collaged together in a Cubist fashion to Paul Schoenfield's jazz-influenced Cafe Music, the evening promises a rich and exciting sensory experience. Featuring composer and jazz trombonist David Glenn, violinist Maria Sampen, violist Tim Christie and the Icicle Creek Piano Trio. Featured winery for the evening is Wedge Mountain Winery of Peshastin.
