A Celebration of the Tree of Life in the Time of the Great Turning
Join us in this perilous moment in history known as the Great Turning as we gather around the ancient mythic image of the Tree of Life. With music and dance, stories and poetry we will come together to express gratitude for the gift of life. Opening to the truth of our despair for the earth and future generations, we will discover new ways of seeing. And in the joy of Earth Community we will dance and sing our yearnings for a sustainable world. With an address by Gaian teacher, Joanna Macy. Storytelling by Michael Meade, music by Gina Sala and dance by Betsey Beckman, with other visual and performing artists.
