With touches of gentle humor, and scenery of bucolic splendor, this slice-of-life portrait of Greece presents the lessons they are learning: that not self-reliance but rather mutual support is essential for livelihood; that to be satisfied with "enough" is what makes for a long and happy life, and that the Ikarian secret is increasingly relevant to us all.
