The Red Hook Criterium is an unsanctioned bicycle race through a desolate post-industrial area of Brooklyn. Track bikes are mandatory and the field consists of national class racers, bike messengers, and urban cyclists. On March 20th, 2010 a crew of 8 filmmakers followed key racers and event organizers throughout the day leading up to the race.
