SFCD Student Showcase
-- part of a series of July dance performances presented by the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance --
70 talented young dancers, ages 15-23, selected by audition from around the U.S. to attend the summer intensive program of the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, will perform a selection of original works. The program will include a piece created by long-time William Forsythe collaborator Thomas McManus and works by Christian Burns, Alex Ketley, Eli Nelson and Malinda LaVelle. (Note: 70 different dancers will perform an entirely different program on August 6 and 7 that will include works by Ohad Naharin.)
