The Portables
The Portable Folk Music Festival, or known locally as "The Portables" were formed in January 1974 by Bill Domler as the house band of The Sounding Board Coffeehouse. There are about 12 in the group right now. They play instruments such as guitars, mandolins, banjos, upright bass, Appalachain and hammered dulcimers, bones, whistles, accordian, autoharp and many, many more. They perform mostly sing a long chorus songs and encourage all to join in! Fun evening of good music!
