Nuts & Bolts of Nonprofit Law, Part 1 - S. King County Only
This seminar is our signature workshop on forming a nonprofit. We cover Washington State law requirements for forming a nonprofit corporation, including explanation of organizing documents (bylaws and articles of incorporation) and yearly filings We will also go through the IRS Form 1023 application for 501c3 tax-exempt status step-by-step, explaining every IRS requirement to obtain 501c3 tax-exempt status. This is critical course for any community group who is thinking about creating a nonprofit.
