The PMI Honolulu, Hawaii Chapter's Monthly Meeting topic is entitled, "The Art of Empathetic Leadership"
Empathetic Leadership is the ability to focus on human-centered mindfulness in all aspects of an organization. A learned skill, empathy is the intellectual identification with or vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another. It's the overlapping space of analytical and intuitive thinking. And, in my experience, it is the most important skill of a highly successful leader. Learning to become an Empathetic Leader is a process that can be condensed into five-steps provided the individual is committed to practice, repetition, and personal growth. In "The Art of Empathetic Leadership" I will provide my five-step ALIVE process and other strategies to become a better leader.
Please join us for an engaging speaker, lunch, and networking opportunities. Anyone currently involved or interested in the Project Management profession is welcome!
