Lilan Kane Group
Lilan Kane (LEE-lawn) is a soul and jazz vocalist based in Oakland, CA. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, she is the consummate performer, with a repertoire that spans the Great American Songbook as well as the classic soul catalog. Her voice is reminiscent of some of the great torch singers but incorporates modern inflections and style to create a timeless sound. She has toured domestically and abroad, and can be found locally singing with the Fil Lorenz Orchestra as well as soul band OTIS. Recently, Lilan founded a female vocal group, featuring some of the most dynamic vocalists in the Bay Area including Emily Day, Gabriela Marguerite, Jackie Gage, and Augusta. These ladies will be debuting intricate vocal arrangements that will showcase powerful solos and lush harmonies. Backed by an all-star quartet, this will be a night of soulful sirens and killer musicians!
