COME ON GANG! :: EMELLE
Come On Gang!
Forming in spring 2007, Come On Gang! immediately started writing the type of music they wanted to hear on a night out; infectious melodies, tight punk guitars and words that bear another listen.Having shared a stage with the likes of Islands, Glasvegas, Florence & The Machine and Angus & Julia Stone, the band released their debut single Wheels on July 7th 2008. Come On Gang!were the first Scottish band confirmed for 2009's SXSW. Their 2nd single Start The Sound was released in December 2008. "ECA trio Come on Gang! boast quite the piece de resistance in drummer/vocalist Sarah Tanat Jones, whose sweetly rendered yet gymnastic turns add a genuine touch of ethereality to some admirably tight punk pop." -Wilbur Kane, The Skinny "They're one of the most compelling undiscovered sounds in the country" -The Scotsman

Emelle
Emelle are three brothers, raised and educated in Kinross and now based in Edinburgh. In the summer of 2009 Emelle started busking the Royal Mile, Edinburgh, where they attracted attention from promoters and made many fans and friends along the way. This gave them the confidence to organise and play gigs all around Scotland including Edinburgh's Caberet Volitaire, Corn Exchange and Bongo Club.
In November 2009 Emelle were spotted by a representative from TPOT studios Perthshire, whilst playing a gig at Milnathort Town Hall which led to the recording of Emelle's debut E.P. "What Would my Mother Say" and the recruitment of fiddle player, Dave MacFarlane. Emelle are currently gigging Scotland and the North East of England adding to their fan base and promoting their music and plan to self release "What Would my Mother Say" soon.
