With the American Cinematheque's 10-year anniversary at the Aero coinciding with the theater's 75th, we'll be celebrating with special programs all year long. We kick off the commemoration of our 75/10 this weekend!

American Cinematheque Members will receive the first opportunity to purchase tickets on January 1 and will be contacted by email. If you would like to join as a Member to receive this advantage, please find info on Membership here and join by December 30. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the public on January 7.
To celebrate the Aero anniversary, we flash back to 1940 with vintage popcorn pricing, nostalgic candy, Champagne and more!
David Pacheco, a veteran Disney Creative Director and former Disney animator, will present a brief, illustrated prologue about the making of FANTASIA.

One of the greatest animated films ever made! What was intended as Mickey Mouse's comeback short grew in scope and ambition to become Walt Disney's third feature, a collection of eight segments introduced by music critic Deems Taylor and set to classical pieces conducted by Leopold Stokowski. Choreographed to the strains of Stravinsky, Beethoven, Ponchielli and others, FANTASIA's dancing mushrooms and hippos, Bald Mountain demons and sorcerer's apprentice are among the most iconic images in cinema history.
