The Rockin' Jake Band is a powerhouse blues and Americana roots group led by virtuosic harmonica player and singer Lawrence "Rockin' Jake" Jacobs. Known for their high-energy, electrifying stage presence, the band blends New Orleans R&B, swamp boogie, and blues with the deep musical heritage of the Crescent City.
Jake has won OffBeat Magazine's coveted "Best of the Beat Award" for Best Harmonica an astounding five times.
Over the decades, he has shared stages and opened for legends like the Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Junior Walker, and Tab Benoit.
Beyond his music, Jake is known for giving back to the community. He is actively involved in educational outreach, working with the Project Prodigy Music Camp and the Blues in the Schools programs to teach children in New Orleans and across the country. He has also launched a signature line of hot sauce called Badmouth.
