1st Annual Dreamland Beach Party
The city's new, very own Riviera - Water Taxi Beach, Long Island City - becomes the sandy, sun-splashed setting for the Summer's newest Jazz-Age destination.
On the shore of the East River, Water Taxi Beach boasts acres of real sand and a 60x40 wooden dance floor.
Add ocean air, live Hot Jazz and the panorama of Manhattan as backdrop, and you have the city's beachiest jazz party ever. Bring your hats and parasols!

Beverages, full bar and hot food will be for sale; ATM cards accepted.
A limited amount of VIP picnic tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
They will be reserved for your party for the entire event and come with special gifts provided by Zelda Magazine and more!
Table reservations can be purchased for $25 per table (each table seats four). Note: This does not include admission price.

Children under 7 get in for free! Under 21 allowed as long as accompanied by parents.
Anyone who wishes to participate in Bathing Beauties Contest can sign up the day of the event. The contest will take place around 2:30pm. If you have any questions email jen@dreamlandorchestra.com or bluevoon@aol.com.

By Car
Travel to Borden and Second Street. At Borden Avenue and Second Street you will see the sign for the New York Water Taxi. We are not in all map and navigation systems. You can find us on Google Maps, by searching for, Water Taxi Beach 54-34 2nd Street, LIC NY 11101.
By Subway
Take the 7 train to Vernon Blvd/Jackson Avenue or the E train to 23rd Street/Ely Avenue. Then, take Vernon Boulevard. directly to Borden Avenue. Next walk past the Water Front Crab House and finally turn RIGHT into our driveway.
Long Island Railroad
Take the Long Island Railroad to the Long Island City/Hunters Point Stop. Exit the platform on Borden Avenue. Walk on Borden Avenue West towards the Manhattan Skyline. Pass the Water Front Crab House on your right and enter our parking lot located directly in front of you.
By Ferry
Shuttle service fromo East 35th and the FDR Drive approximately every 15 minutes between 1pm - 3pm and 5pm - 5:45pm. The fare is $5 each way.
*Proceeds from the Dreamland Beach Party ticket sales will go towards supporting future public Dreamland Jazz Age events.*
