Seeker of Truth - North Hampton, MA
Award winning Israeli composer, world music artist (Oud), educator and peace activist Yuval Ron come together with Qawwali master Sukhawat Ali Khan of Pakistan to perform the ecstatic music of the mystical Sufi traditions, the sacred music of the Iraqi jews, and the Hassidic Jewish tradition. Sukhawat Ali Khan is a master Qawwali singer who represents the family lineage of the 600 year old Sham Chorasi traditional school of music , which was established during the reign of Emperor Akbar of India. Joining the two is Nur Habib Tiven a world percussionist who represents the world spiritual tradition of rhythm. Guest appearance by singer Talia Goren.
