This all new "Lost Episode" focuses on the lovable antics and explores the relationship of Dorothy and Sophia. Revisit some of the infamous on-screen moments of everyone's favorite Mother & Daughter sitcom duo, as well as many before never seen interactions. That are sure to leave you laughing and crying from a couple of sincere loving Kleenex moments. It also features Rose and Blanche.
From 1985 to 1992, millions of Americans tuned in to catch the loveable antics of Dorothy, Blanche, Rose & Sophia. Now they're back only this time, LIVE ON STAGE! The 60-minute show is a loving tribute to our favorite mostly gray-haired gals with a DRAG CAST. The show is a parody written in the voice and flavor of the original sitcom. It also includes seen and not see Christmas recollections of the girls. Both tender and laugh out loud funny.
Once the lights dim, the infamous 'Thank You For Being A Friend' plays (accompanied by audience members singing along) & the actors make their way through the crowd, they receive a warm & welcoming ovation. Things get slightly 'Rocky Horror' at some points when a handful of audience members start reciting dialogue along with the cast, proving what a cultural icon the show was & still is.
Opens at Opus in their Underground dinner theater for a limited run on Saturdays and Sundays starting Saturday January 17th and repeating Sunday January 18 at our NEW TIMESLOT of 2:30PM. (The room opens for Brunch seating at 1:30PM) The show then repeats every Saturday and Sunday through March 22, 2015. Brunch is served.
There is a $20 food and/or drink minimum purchase requirement. Opus has a Brunch menu available including their award winning sushi and the best of the North Shore Hamburger. Menu is available at SalemOpus.com. Gratuity is not included.

The show features the award winning original cast from TGGL in NYC and 2003 and the 10th Anniversary cast of TGGL in Los Angeles in 2013. As well as the sold out Halloween run here in Salem at Opus in 2014.
