The Corndrinkers Bluegrass Band
Join us Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 7:30PM for an intimate evening of country and bluegrass featuring, The Corndrinkers.
A Miami Valley cultural institution since the mid-1970s, The Corndrinkers is an old-time stringband that channels the sound and spirit of the "Golden Age" of country music - the 1920s and 1930s. Wtih the twin fiddles of Linda Scutt and Barb Kuhns echoing the great north Georgia dance bands and leading the charge, Tom Duffee (banjo), Doug Smith (guitar) and Al Turnbull (bass) have played at festivals and dances throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina and elsewhere in the Appalachian region.
Tickets are $10 online or $12 at the door. Box Office opens at 7:00PM, with the performance starting at 7:30PM. Come early and meet the band!
