Love and Light: A Celebration of Women Composers
Voci di Sorelle is an a cappella vocal ensemble of twelve women based in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2004 by director Ruth Moreland, the group is renowned for exquisite performances that showcase the power, versatility, and beauty of womens voices.
Voci di Sorelle's performances are eclectic, ranging from early music, sacred hymns, and traditional folk melodies to modern jazz, world music and classical arrangements. The 2009-2010 season showcases works by female composers throughout the centuries from across the globe.
Voci di Sorelle was listed in the 2008 TOP TEN CLASSSICAL CONCERTS by San Antonio Express-News.
