On March 19th, 2015, The Telling Room will host our fifth annual Glitterati event to support young writers in Maine. Each year, Glitterati raises over $50,000 to support our free programs for youth. The event features a crowd of over 350 supporters, including leaders from Greater Portland's arts, education, nonprofit, and business communities, as well as celebrated authors.
It's an evening to mingle, sample delicious food from Grace Restaurant, bid on live and silent auction items, and donate to support our mission.
Glitterati is not just a great party. Each year, Glitterati has sparked an increased
awareness of young people's needs for imaginative instruction in literacy and writing,
as well as opportunities to share their work with real audiences. Glitterati is a great
opportunity to become involved and give students voice in their community.
