Santa Barbara Minute Film Festival 2010
The first annual Santa Barbara Minute Film Festival will feature approximately 50 films from local and international filmmakers. Guest hosts and speakers are industry professionals working in a variety of film and media outlets.
The festival is designed to showcase very short form film or video by artists of any experience level, from novice to professional. Through an affordable and accessible format, many individuals are able to make something unique and creative within the festival's required guideline: One Minute.
A variety of genres will be showcased: documentary, animation, experimental, student work, nature, trailers, music videos, and so on. Our submissions come from all parts of the world and express unique spirit, style, and soul.
All proceeds will benefit a local, deserving non-profit organization. This year's proceeds will benefit LifeChronicles.
LifeChronicles provides professional and quality video production to those who are terminally ill or in a variety of life crisis. The videos LifeChronicles produces serve as a remembrance or keepsake that can be passed down to family members or friends for years to come.
Santa Barbara Minute Film Festival 2010 is the first one-minute film festival of shorts to premiere in the Santa Barbara area. We look forward to seeing you at this year's historic event!
