Academy Award winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is joining your hosts Grae Drake and Gariana Abeyta to celebrate the 100th episode of their movie review podcast! Also joining them are several very special surprise guests, including COURTNEY CRUZ, whose Burlesque was voted LA's best by LA Weekly in 2009!
The 80s are in the spotlight for this event, as the trio is reviewing WALL STREET (1987) and ZAPPED! (1982). Don't forget that the show is more fun if you've seen the movies beforehand...and also, if you come dressed as your favorite 80s icon, you are entered to win a super special PRIZE at the end of the night.
For tickets, you have two choices: If you just want to see the show, it's $8. If you want a wristband to get into the VIP after party at Cayenne next door with unlimited FREE BOOZE AND FOOD, it's $12. The fee goes up at the door ($12 show only/$16 VIP) and is CASH ONLY. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance if you want cheaper prices and/or to use a card! UPDATE: VIP tickets are now sold out!
PLEASE NOTE: THE MOVIES ARE NOT BEING SCREENED, it is just an entertaining review of the 2 films. The pre-show show is burlesque, 18+ audience only. There is the possibility of toilet paper flying towards the audience. Be prepared to show ID upon entering the venue.
