Gem State Jam at the Old Idaho Pen
Idaho's largest solar powered summer music festival is coming back to Boise. In collaboration with Sustainable Waves Staging, the Jam introduces musical acts from throughout the States and from right here in Idaho performing on two solar powered stages.
A venue like no other, the historic Old Idaho Penitentiary opens up its gates to welcome groups of all ages to partake in the festivities. Penitentiary Exhibits and museums will be open all day with guides present throughout the grounds to answer any questions.
More than just a festival, the Gem State Jam intends to reinforce strength in community, and what it means to be a large-scale sustainable event in these times. Vendors and Artists, invited from throughout the Northwest, will showcase their work alongside demonstrations in sustainability.
Enjoy the day in Downtown Boise with select beverages from our friends at New Belgium Brewery, Pabst and other favorites. Local food vendors will be providing delicious eats for the festival. Visit our website as more information on all the happenings!
