SuitesRaiser:An Evening of the Complete Bach Cello Suites presented by Bach in the Subways-L.A.
It's just one of those things you must experience in your life... Witness a live performance of the complete Bach Cello Suites.
What makes the Bach Cello Suites so miraculous is that each one is a work of art on the same level as a Beethoven symphony, or a Haydn String Quartet, but for one single instrument. Their power & beauty unfailingly inspire deep appreciation and strong emotion. Enjoy them all in one monumental experience!
The founder of Bach in the Subways, Dale Henderson will perform the Bach Cello Suites in Koreatown, Los Angeles on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 5:30pm.
ALL of the proceeds will go to support the grassroots, community-minded, volunteer-run, international musical movement, Bach in the Subways.
Artist Bio: Dale Henderson began playing cello at age five, and by seven was performing regularly as a soloist. He made his professional debut at thirteen with the Buffalo Philharmonic. In 1993, at the invitation of Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Dale attended the International Menuhin Music Academy in Gstaad, Switzerland, and from 1996-2000 Dale earned his BM from the New England Conservatory of Music.
Dale now lives in New York City where he teaches and concertizes. He also devotes his time to Bach in the Subways - an international movement which sows the seeds for future generations of classical music lovers by generating public interest and excitement for the art form and bringing live classical music to those who would not otherwise hear it.
