Saving Carren documents the story of a retired cop who risks everything to save his daughter who has fallen prey to the destructive power of methamphetamines. Beginning with Carren's rape at the age of 14, the film takes its audience on a journey through the darkest corners of Carren's pasts. Alternating between stark animation and riveting personal narrative, this documentary allows access to the private nightmare of a meth addict's world. Is a father's love strong enough to bring both himself and his daughter back from the brink of death?
