With the Lawrence Peters Outfit featuring Josh Chicoine!
Local legend Lawrence Peters brings his Outfit and its signature honky-tonk sound to CIMMfest to accompany an as-yet-to-be-named silent film, with festival director Josh Chicoine of the M's thrown into the mix. LPO plays an almost forgotten kind of country music, faithful to its roots while sounding completely new.
Then, everyone's favorite Chicago punk-rock-marching-band, Mucca Pazza, takes the stage. Featuring slide trombones, marching drums, and an assortment of other odd instruments, the never-predictable troupe takes over St. Paul's after the films are done.
