 Founded in 2004 by Artistic and Executive Director, Ruth Moreland, Benissimo! Music Productions continues to bring outstanding vocal music to audiences. VOCI DI SORELLE is an a cappella vocal ensemble of twelve women renowned for exquisite performances that showcase the power, versatility, and beauty of women's voices. The ensemble's performances are eclectic, ranging from early music, sacred hymns, and traditional folk melodies to modern jazz, world music and classical arrangements. Voci di Sorelle was listed in the 2008 TOP 10 CLASSSICAL CONCERTS by San Antonio Express-News. Benissimo! Music's newest ensemble, THE COPPERLEAF QUINTET, presents its second full concert season with four distinct concerts designed to inspire audiences and delight fans of vocal ensemble music. The Copperleaf Quintet is a group of five exceptional vocalists that seamlessly blends female and male voices to bring exquisite harmonies and the highest level of musical excellence to each performance. Musical selections for each concert are chosen to complement the architecture and history of the specific performance venue. |
