Maestro Soler Concert
Maestro Soler will perform a solo guitar recital that will feature music from Spain, Classical and Popular from Latin America, A Panorama of the Contemporary Guitar, and Modern forms such as Jazz and the Blues. Several of the pieces have been composed by Maestro Soler. Other composers include Francisco Tárrega, Manuel M. Ponce, Pablo Escobar, Benjamin Britten, and Jerry Reed.
He is an internationally recognized artist. He has received numerous prizes and has been the recipient of many awards.
He has recorded the CD Guitar Collection of Francesc de Paula Soler for Mel Bay Publications (US); the CD & DVD "The guitar with feeling", and published by "Casa Beethoven Publicacions", "Catalana de Ediciones Musicales", "Clivis Publicacions", "Tenora de Ediciones Musicales" and "Editorial Boileau" (Spain).
Called the new "Poet of the Guitar", Maestro Soler's wide international activity as a performer has brought critics to hail him as one of the most notable artists of the guitar world.
