Music and Mustangs
Music and Mustangs will be held on family owned Hahn farm in Salt Point, NY and hosted as a benefit to Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue! All proceeds will benefit Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, home to over 40 rescued horses.  In addition, LOHR has EAGALA certified Equine Specialists.  The rescued horses work as therapy horses for children and adults with mental, emotional and physical ailments.

Hahn Farm has been the hay provider for Lucky Orphans for over 10 years and is proud to host our benefit! The road stand will be open for the purchases of local farm raised meats, produce and other supplies.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and come relax and listen to some great music for a great cause!

We look forward to seeing you there and thank you in advance for helping us help the horses pay it forward!

Here are the four amazing artists scheduled to perform:

Brinn Black

Most aspiring singers who move to Music City leave just as quickly as they show up. The sound of doors closing has a way of making even the most strong willed, optimistic people grow faint and give up, but Virginia native Brinn Black did just the opposite. She got mad. Black used the disappointments and hardships that came with being an up and coming pop-country singer to propel her career to the next level with the release of her new EP, "Get Mad." "I've learned to just fight back and not give into what life puts in front of you," said Black, "We all have the ability to create our own destiny." In September 2013, Brinn opened up for "Wagon Wheel" singer Darius Rucker in Glenn Allen, WV to a crowd of over 6500 people!

Templeton Thompson

Templeton is one of Nashville's sought after session vocalists, having sung countless demos as well as background vocals for major label artists. She has performed on stage for audiences across the US, in Europe and in Japan. Her love for horses along with her passion for music has made Templeton a favorite at major horse expos as well as National and International horse events. Templeton's horse, "Jane" also achieved celebrity status when Breyer, the maker of collectable model horses, created a model of "Jane" which was packaged with Templeton's music and sold nationwide. If you ask her, Templeton would tell you she feels like that's her "Grammy" in the horse world! Templeton is also a very proud ambassador for EAGALA (The Equine Assisted Growth & Learning Association). Her music video for her song, "When I Get That Pony Rode" (Directed by multi-award winning Director, Cindy Meehl) WORLD PREMIERED on CMT.com & went to #1!

Jay Taylor

Jay was born in Duette, FL, on a 2,000 acre farm and ranch. He learned early the meaning of hard work and discipline from a supportive family and devout religion that has come in very handy since moving to Nashville, TN in January of 2008. Since moving to the "Music City," Jay has played in over 40 states and several of Nashville's famous venues including Tootsies Orchid Lounge, 3rd and Lindsley, and performs live on the famous WSM 650 A.M. Recently, in the winter of 2012, Jay and his band hit the studio and in just a matter of days finished Jay's self titled E.P. Jay has played for every crowd, from the pews of his church to the crowds of hundreds and thousands at Busch Gardens and the Florida Strawberry Festival. Jay's plan now is to reach out across the south, playing every type of venue to share his original songs. With Jay's strong unique vocals and his world class band's distinct sound, Jay shares his life long love for music and connects with the crowd and every individual in the audience. Jay Taylor is guaranteed to leave a lasting mark on any stage he plays, a mark you definitely won't want to miss. You might have seen him perform at the Dutchess County Fair last year!

Jordan Stoner

Growing up in the small town of Stanfordville, NY, Jordan Stoner developed a passion for music at a young age. Jordan came from a very musical family. With a father playing everything from heavy metal to country and a mother singing background vocals, music was all around him as a young boy. He started out as a drummer, playing and working with the likes of REO Speedwagon, Travis Tritt, Kellie Pickler, Justin Moore and many others. Jordan began writing music and playing in bars and restaurants around him in upstate, NY at the age of 14 with his father, mother, and younger brother, Brandon. Over the years he has turned his passion to singing while still drumming as well. In the near future, Jordan is looking to relocate to Nashville to further pursue his singing career.
