Event
In Transit Cocktail and Screening
On June 23rd, In Transit, Albert's "train film", a collaboration with Lynn True, Nelson Walker and David Usui and Ben Wu will premiere at Metrograph on the Lower East Side for a limited run this month.
In celebration of the event and in support of the Maysles Documentary Center we are hosting a small pre-film cocktail event reserving special seating for the night. I am hoping you will join us.
The Maysles Documentary Center is based in Harlem and hosts community screenings of documentary films and teaches documentary filmmaking to youth in the local community. Our films are pay-what-you wish and our classes are sliding scale or free. We offer new and underrepresented filmmakers the chance to show their films, find their voices and engage with veteran filmmakers.
