Neshama

A vocalist, musician, songwriter, and arranger, Neshama is no stranger to the game with more than two decades of recording and writing experience.
She has had aspirations to be a great entertainer and has been singing to anyone who would listen since she was about 5 years of age. Influences ranging from Anita Baker to Diana Krall to Yolanda Adams to Prince--and then some, Neshama is a unique artist whose aim is to "revolutionize" music. A "musical revolutionary", she strives to bring back REAL music by experimenting with all genres--not limiting herself to the normal constraints faced by most artists today. She does what she feels and will absolutely NOT conform.
Her sound can be described as a fusion of jazz, soul, blues, and funk, peppered with a little hip-hop flavor, but she also masters anything else that comes her way. Her main goal is to reach audiences everywhere, those who truly appreciate MUSIC and those who understand that the metaphorical "box" doesn't exist. She is ever-evolving as she strives to maintain relevance no matter what the "musical trends" are for the moment.

Azurah Vibrez

Whitney Azurah Stewart, known professionally as Azurah Vibez is an American singer, songwriter, and model, Her artistry includes, Rhythm and Blues, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, and Pop. Born in Corpus Christi TX, and raised in Austin, TX, at the young age of eight Azurah began to realize her natural talents which she expressed through singing and drawing and later expanded her talents (edited here) with compelling heartfelt lyrics for songs she now performs at various venues.

A self expressed "modern day feminist", Azurah's musical genre includes themes of love, relationships, consciousness, feminism, spirituality, and empowerment.

Edwin Ed Koch Maldonado Jr. is a poet and educator from the South Bronx, now living in Austin, Texas. Born in New York City, Ed began performing as a four year-old, competing in local talent competitions, featured as a guest with the popular 80s group Menudo on "The Morning Show", and competed at the world-famous "Showtime at the Apollo" as a Prince impersonator. He spent eight years as a professional actor, appeared on many commercials, movies, and TV shows ranging from "Sesame Street", "The Cosby Show", "Another World", to "Reading Rainbow".

After moving to Texas in 2010, Ed quickly began competing as a slam poet. He has represented Texas at the annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam as a four time member and coach of the Austin B-Sides. He has competed as a team member and coach of Buffalo's Pure Ink slam team, taking first place at the 2013 Empire State Regional Poetry Slam (Western NY), 2014 QEW Regional Poetry Slam (Ontario, Canada), and the 2014 Albany Word Fest Invitational Slam. He is currently taking a break from his Anybody Can Get It poetry and workshop tour to serve as the co-director of the Speak Piece Poetry Project, Austins youth slam team.
