The Rahim AlHaj Trio featuring 2-time Grammy nominee, National Endowmnet for The Arts 2016 National Heritage Fellow and Smithsonian Folkways recording artist Iraqi oud virtuoso and composer Rahim Alhaj joined by Iranian santour maestro Sourena Sefati and (Palestinian-American, Arabic percussion master Issa Malluf in a benefit concert for KUPR Community Radio, Placitas, NM operating expenses. This very special event brings together three fabulously inventive Middle Eastern musicians in an intimate and acoustically beautiful setting.
The concert takes place at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church in Placitas, NM on Friday August 26 at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 7:00 PM
