Maria Graña, born in Buenos Aires , June 16, 1953, is considered one of the most important female singers in the history of Argentine Tango.
Her warmth, her charming communicative personality, and a sober and strong way of interpreting tango make this performer unique in her style.
Awarded with 4 Carlos Gardel prizes among other distinctions, Maria Graña has built a reputation in Argentina and in the world.
She was a member of the original cast of the legendary show Tango Argentino. The New York Times called Graña the Judy Garland of Buenos Aires.
