Away We Go!
Take a journey with PhilHarmonia!
The singers of PhilHarmonia, captained by their fearless artistic director, Mitos Andaya Hart, perform in an afternoon of musical adventure aboard a replica of the 102-foot schooner Diligence!
Journey to the frozen climes of Thule, to the spewing volcanoes of Popocatepetl and Fogo, to the rocks of Yosemite. We'll travel by land, air and sea via the music of Weelkes, Bartok, Whitacre, James Taylor and more - from old sea chanteys to an exclusive world premiere by American composer Fred Cohen.
Make a day of it! Concert tickets include a full day pass to the Independence Seaport Museum. Enjoy interactive exhibits inside and outside the museum. Climb aboard and explore the historic cruiser Olympia and Becuna submarine. The museum opens at 10am and is located next to the Spruce Street Harbor Park, where you can grab lunch from any number of delicious Philadelphia food carts, play life-size chess, relax in a hammock, and more!
Tickets in advance are $18 ($13 for students and seniors), and $23 at the door ($18 for students and seniors).
Parking is available at the Independence Seaport Museum for a $20 flat rate for the day. Street parking is also available.
