Jami Sieber in Concert with Special Guest, Steve Gorn
Electric cellist/vocalist, Jami Sieber will be joined by master bansuri flute player, Steve Gorn for this special concert. Steve played on Jami's recordings Unspoken and Only Breath and they have toured together in the NW and NE of the USA.

Electric cellist and vocalist Jami Sieber reaches inside the soul with compositions that are contemporary, timeless, lush, and powerfully evocative. Her music moves beyond the surface, reflecting a deep dedication to the arts as a medium of exploration and awareness of the interconnectedness of all beings. Employing looping devices and electronics to create sounds never before associated with the cello, Sieber transforms her solo instrument into an orchestra of sound that opens the heart, defies the mind, and sets the body dancing.

Grammy winner Steve Gorn, is creating a new idiom, a music that combines the essence of classical Indian tradition with a contemporary world music sensibility. Known for his distinctive sound on the Indian bansuri flute and clarinet, his music blends seamlessly with Jami Sieber's cello and voice.

Tickets are also available locally at Ithaca Guitar Works on North Cayuga St. They will also be available at the door the night of the event for $25.
RE: Parking - there is on-street parking, but it is tight given the college so allow enough time to get to the concert. There is also a Cornell Lot next door to the venue. You will need a "Park Mobile" app on your smart phone to pay for parking and use the lot.
