SAE Institute Chicago students are taking over the CTA to celebrate the creative heart of the city and showcase Chicago's art with live sets from Chicago's finest EDM DJs and screenings from leading filmmakers and producers inside two CTA train cars. The train will loop the Brown line starting at 8pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

DEPARTURE TIME
The train departs promptly at 8:00pm. Stops will be made periodically (every ~30 minutes) at the Chicago/Franklin stop, however if you disembark from the train, there is no guarantee you will be able to re-board.

Seating is extremely limited. All guest MUST be registered through this site to board the train. No exceptions will be made.

An outstanding group of environmentally conscious music business students at Chicago's SAE Institute have taken their education to new heights. Their motto "this is not a school, this is our future" has laid the foundation to takeover the CTA to celebrate the creative heart of the city and champion the reduction of our carbon footprint on the planet. They will showcase Chicago's incredible art with live sets from top EDM DJs and screenings from leading filmmakers and producers inside two CTA train cars as they loop the city. It will be as extraordinary and as memorable as this city is 'EPIC'.
"Not every city has the skyline, the attitude, the heart, the people that we do here in Chicago. We're lucky to have the support of a school that lets students run with their imaginations, make things happen, that perhaps shouldn't, and in turn defines the spirit of the city we live in" said Martin Atkins, department chair of Music Business.
'All aboard' The Live Line May 13, 2015. Guest will board at the Chicago Brown line station at the corner of Franklin and Chicago Ave starting at 8pm. The ticket includes a one hour ride on the train and a commemorative lanyard. Tickets are limited. If you don't get one, no worries, we'll be broadcasting live via Periscope.
With this event we intend to showcase amazing Chicago artistic talent with the city's wonderful skyline as the backdrop. Riding the CTA is not just amazing when it's full of art and talent, but also for servicing millions of riders daily and limiting the amount of carbon emissions going into our atmosphere. The event will pump a breath of fresh air into raising the awareness of Chicago CTA's involvement in carbon reduction during daily commute. If just one person in a two car household chose to ride public transportation for their daily commute, this would be equivalent to an 8.1% reduction in the annual carbon footprint of a typical American household.
