Get down with us as we collectively prepare for another cycle of Mercury in Retrograde. Our fusion grooves and psychedelic sounds will leave you well equipped to handle this upcoming period of astrological illusions.

Sometimes our solar system's planets appear to be traveling backward through the zodiac - this is an illusion. We call this illusion retrograde motion. Mercury's retrograde periods can cause our plans to go awry. However, this is also an excellent time to reflect on the past. Intuition is high during these periods, and coincidences can be extraordinary.

When Mercury is retrograde, remain flexible, allow time for extra travel, and avoid signing contracts. Review projects and plans at these times, but wait until Mercury is direct again to make any final decisions. Atlas Maior is a music group based in Austin, Texas that maps diverse musical traditions, placing Jazz, Arab Turkish, and Latin American musical idioms in dialogue with one another. Atlas Maior composes music that pays homage to the stewards of these traditions and their cultural and geographic origins. Their unique sound balances moments of sincerity with powerful cinematic melodies and incendiary rhythmic passages.
