"Whatever I Like," an evening of Middle Eastern music
A selection of Arabic, Turkish, Armenian and other pieces played on the qanun, the middle eastern zither. From lively dance tunes to modal improvisations, Cuban standards to Medieval saltarellos, Sarah will play her current favorite tunes, accompanied by the astonishing drumming of Peter Maund and the elegant and inventive cello of Suellen Primost.
