MICHAEL HOLT
Toronto-based troubadour Michael Holt puts on an unpredictable, one-man variety show using multiple instruments, moods, costumes and characters. He weaves together covers of Dizzy Gillespie, Bob Dylan, Prince, and Fela Kuti with his own Beatlesy pop tunes on the guitar, quirky art songs on the piano, and Fellini-esque lounge music on the organ. On top of tall that, this tour will feature dreamy sets of original classical pieces from his new double-album 24 Preludes for Piano.
