Get ready for a night of snowboard action and something different than your average premiere. This is a one-night only exclusive event created by the Snowboard Northwest crew to stoke the fire of the community and get everyone hyped for the start of the season. We are going to start the night off with a film fest featuring local northwest riders and filmmakers in an audience decided showdown for Ca$h prizes. The audience will pick their favorite film after viewing. There will also be a raffle from sponsors with money going to support the riders and filmmakers and give them a jump start to cultivate more culture in the Northwest Snowboard Community and beyond.
Fest Entries include: "The Meatgrinder," Season edits from Jack McColl, Ted McColl, Ryan Tucker, Matt Wainhouse, Derrek Lever, Eric Miller, Tarek Heli, Robin Foster, Tommy Little, Michael Dyrland, and Nico Harasic.
The night's headliner will be RedBull.com/snow presents Really Gotta Wanna, a Seth Hill production that goes into the depths of snowboarding with Gigi Ruf, Scott Stevens, Bode Merrill, Seth Hill, Manuel Diaz, Matt Wainhouse, Joe Bosler, Red Gerard, Kale Stephens, Kurt Jenson, Chris Grenier and more. The "Stories Behind the Riding" is what happens when Seth Hill combines with editor Kurt Jenson and Assistant editor Jeremy Dubs to give the audience a feel for what life is like as a pro snowboarder behind the scenes, in many varied situations throughout the world.
Check out the after party at the Iron Bull, next door, where the Snowboard Northwest awards will be given out!
