Nabila Mango's 70th birthday party is a fundraiser that will benefit the Aswat documentary directed by filmmaker Mohammed Alhamoud. The film's working title is "Aswat: Fifteen Years of Passion", and will be a portrait of Aswat as an ensemble at the intersection of social justice and the arts in the Bay Area. The film will cover the inception and 14-year development of Aswat as the Bay Area's premier Arab music ensemble, and will be released in 2015.
