Yuletide 2013
From the producers of PoeFest, Yuletide is a magical journey into the distant past to the roots of our seasonal traditions. Arizona Curriculum Theater presents their fourth annual Yuletide celebration featuring Bartholomew Faire playing the songs of the ancients, from festive Spanish and Portuguese cantigas, to the ever-popular French Noëls. Bartholomew Faire will be playing a collection of ancient instruments from across the globe including the al' ud, citole, drone ocarina, organistrum, recorder, lute, gothic harp, gothic bagpipes, pipe & tabor, and more.
In addition to the music, ACT Inc. actors will delight audiences with readings from throughout history, including hungry Saturnalians, wounded Celtic warriors, German Fairy Tales, Saint Nick's evil demon friend, an Italian Christmas witch, and much more.
Yuletide was designed for adults, but it is appropriate for children eight years and older.
