Whisperings Solo Piano Concert - Duluth (Atlanta), Georgia
Whisperings Solo Piano Radio Concert Series comes to Atlanta, GA for November of 2013 with Philip Wesley, Joseph Akins and Greg Maroney. Enjoy an evening of contemporary piano music from these four talented artists as they perform their original compositions as heard on Whisperings.com and around the globe. If you haven't heard of these accomplished pianists, their music is very similar to Jim Brickman, David Lanz and George Winston.
DOOR PRIZES will be given away! Autographed CDs and sheet music will be available. Meet and greet with the artists. This concert is enjoyed by piano fans, teachers, students and anyone who would like to attend a piano concert that is inspiring, relaxing and fun.
Tickets are:
$15 (Adults)/$8 (Youth under 18) in Advance from Brown Paper Tickets, or
$20 (Adults)/$10 (Youth under 18) DAY OF SHOW AT THE DOOR (November 17).

ABOUT JOSEPH AKINS

Based in Nashville, pianist-composer Joseph Akins has cultivated a sound that blends a variety of musical styles with his southern roots. To date, he has released four albums in the contemporary new age piano genre. A Piano Christmas (2011) was nominated as Best Holiday Album of the Year at SoloPiano.com, and Spirit Touch (2009) was included in the Top 40 for the Decade of 2000-2009 at MainlyPiano.com. Joseph is an Associate Professor of Recording Industry at Middle TN State University.

Greg Maroney is a very gifted pianist. The original piano music found in his ten CDs is beautifully written and flows as if it comes directly from nature. He has studied classical and jazz piano since age five and currently performs in concert as a solo pianist, playing original compositions from his highly acclaimed CDs. He is based in rural south central Pennsylvania.
