Ithaca SufferJets vs Rochester's RocStars

The Ithaca League of Women Rollers' 2013 flat track roller derby season kicks off when the Ithaca SufferJets take on their neighbors of the North, Rochester's ROC City all-star team, the RocStars, Saturday, May 11, 2013.

The last time these two teams met at the Empire Skate Showdown,the RocStars were able to take the SufferJets by a narrow two point victory. The SufferJets want this win badly.

This is a great season opener that is sure to bring the best hard-hitting action roller derby has to offer. All are welcome!

This is our sixth season in Ithaca and we can proudly say that roller derby is here to stay! Returning and new fans alike can expect exciting, fast, and revolutionary roller derby at our community-oriented home games. We showcase local talent, local organizations, and provide a fun, accessible sporting event for all ages.

General Admission Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door for adults, 18 and under FREE

There are bleachers for seating and you can bring chairs or cushions to sit on trackside.
